Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has lashed out at Jaya Bachchan over the remarks over the alleged conspiracy to defame the film industry. Kangana took to Twitter and revealed whether Jaya ji would say the same thing if her own daughter Shweta was allegedly molested and beaten. What will be the situation if her son Abhishek had complained about bullying and harassment constantly and found hanging one day? Kangana asked Jaya to show compassion for the affected parties also. In her speech, Jaya made critical remarks over Kangana and BJP MP Ravi Kishan.

According to Jaya, there is a conspiracy to defame the film industry. People in the entertainment industry are being flogged by social media. People who made their names in the industry have called it a gutter. I completely disagree, added Jaya. She also asked the Government to tell people who are making bad remarks against Bollywood not to make use of this kind of language. Kangana had termed the film industry as a gutter and also revealed that 99 percent of the people who work on the industry are drug addicts.

Kangana added that there are no proper HR departments in production houses where women can complain. Moreover, there are no safety or insurances for technicians who work in dangerous shooting postures. She said that employees also deserve respect in addition to money. She has drafted a full list of reforms for submission before the Central Government for workers and Junior artists.

Responding to BJP MP Ravi Kishan’s remark, Jaya said you can’t tarnish the image of the entire industry just because of few people. Jaya added that it’s a shame that one of her colleagues has spoken against Bollywood. Meanwhile, Ravi responded back that he is not surprised by the remarks of Jaya. He said that not all people consume drugs but those who do is destroying the entire film industry. The situation was not like this when we joined but now we need to protect the industry. He alleged that drugs are smuggled into India by Pakistan and China to destroy the younger generation.

To recall, Sushant’s Girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik was arrested for intimidating suicide of Susant Singh Rajput’s suicide.

Malaikottai Vaaliban was released on January 25, 2024, amidst huge expectations. Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, Malaikottai Vaaliban has entered its third week without much celebration among fans. According to reports, the Malaikottai Vaaliban OTT is expected to hit Disney+ Hotstar by the first week of March.

The company has acquired streaming rights for the film. Even though the films are released on OTT platforms after fourth week, there are indications that Malaikottai Vaaliban OTT will have an early release. There is a possibility that the film could hit OTT by the end of February 2024.

In addition to Mohanlal, Malaikottai Vaaliban features Sonali Kulkarni, Danish Sait, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, Manikandan R. Achari, and much more. The story revolves around the journey to various places and conducts battles with wrestlers. The movie comprises brilliant visual effects but the story was not as per the expectations of the people.

The film failed to make any major impact at the box office. The trackers have reported that Malaikottai Vaaliban has minted Rs 26 crore worldwide, which is less than the overall investment. Mohanlal had announced the release of a comic book. We don’t know in which marketplace the book will be up for sale.
