Mohanlal’s Alone OTT Release Date is now available. Mohanlal is well-known for his adventures. He has had a deep passion for cinema right from his first release Manjil Virinja Pookal in 1970. Even though he played a villain along with 80s hero Shanker, the rest is history. He has grown up like a champion despite obstacles like flops.

His latest one-man show titled Alone recently hit theatres on January 26. The film will now be available on Disney+ Hotstar starting March 3. Alone will be available in the US via Hulu. If you missed watching the film in theatres, then you can tap on the Hotstar app to watch the adventure film. The interesting point to note is that Mohanlal is the only actor in the film with voiceovers from leading actors such as Prithviraj, Manju Warrier, Siddique, Mallika Sukumaran, and others.

DisneyPlus Hotstar Malayalam took to Twitter and revealed the OTT release date along with the trailer. In Alone, Mohanlal has joined hands with Shaji Kailas after a long time. It was in the year 2009, the Narasimham actor paired with Shaji Kailas for his film Baba Kalyani.

The entire film crew took only 18 years to complete the shooting of Alone. Even though there were rumors that Alone will find the limelight in OTT, Mohanlal took the decision to transmit the film via theatres first. The initial box office reaction was not upto the expectations since viewers were visibly tired and bored after the two-hour show featuring only Mohanlal.

Written by Rajesh Jayaraman, Alone is the 30th film under the Ashirvad Cinemas banner with the first being Narasimham. Ashirvad Cinemas is being run and managed by Mohanlal’s former driver turned producer Antony Perumbavoor.

Alone revolves around a person who has struck up inside the house during the COVID-19 lockdown. If you like thriller movies, then Alone is for you. You just need to open Hotstar and select their banner featuring Mohanlal to watch Alone. If you don’t have Hotstar, you can purchase a suitable package to watch the film. Alternatively, you can also wait until the film hits Asianet. We expect Alone TV to premiere on Asianet during Vishu in April.

Malaikottai Vaaliban was released on January 25, 2024, amidst huge expectations. Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, Malaikottai Vaaliban has entered its third week without much celebration among fans. According to reports, the Malaikottai Vaaliban OTT is expected to hit Disney+ Hotstar by the first week of March.

The company has acquired streaming rights for the film. Even though the films are released on OTT platforms after fourth week, there are indications that Malaikottai Vaaliban OTT will have an early release. There is a possibility that the film could hit OTT by the end of February 2024.

In addition to Mohanlal, Malaikottai Vaaliban features Sonali Kulkarni, Danish Sait, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, Manikandan R. Achari, and much more. The story revolves around the journey to various places and conducts battles with wrestlers. The movie comprises brilliant visual effects but the story was not as per the expectations of the people.

The film failed to make any major impact at the box office. The trackers have reported that Malaikottai Vaaliban has minted Rs 26 crore worldwide, which is less than the overall investment. Mohanlal had announced the release of a comic book. We don’t know in which marketplace the book will be up for sale.

On the work front, Mohanlal’s Malaikottai Vaaliban is running in theatres with mixed response. The film hasn’t pulled viewers to the film theatres. Even though Mohanlal is a crowd-puller, Malaikottai Vaaliban failed to impress the audience due to some reasons. We expect the film to hit the OTT platform by the end of February.
