Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam

The Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam film from the house of Mammootty Kampany is now available on a popular OTT platform. The film was first premiered during the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) held in Thiruvananthapuram in December 2022. The first screening saw a huge inflow of film lovers and fans, who were screaming by shouting LJP. However, they had to stand in long queues while the ruling party MLAs like Mukesh and others sneaked into the venue comfortably. This has irked the Mammootty fans to a large extent and they went on rampage.

Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam is currently streaming on Netflix. The film started its run on Netflix OTT on February 23. You can watch at your own convenience via your smartphone and TV. There will be no rush, police lathis, police cases, and other disturbances. The film will premiere on Asianet in April during Vishu.

You should note that Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam fared badly at the box office with the film failing to impress the target audience. The hype was created during IFFK by the makers but the response from the people was not satisfactory. Mammooty Kampany also took to Twitter and revealed the date of the Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam OTT launch.

The film was released along with Mohanlal’s Alone, which also collapsed at the box office. Alone will run on the OTT platform from March 3. Mohanlal is the only actor with voiceovers from several leading actors. The story revolves around a person ending up inside his house during COVID-19 lockdown.

Alencier Le Lopez

At the 53rd Kerala State Film Awards ceremony, actor Alencier Le Lopez received the Special Jury Award for his performance in the film Appan. In his acceptance speech made before Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, he made a number of controversial remarks about the award statuette, which is a stylized figure of a woman.

Alencier said that he was insulted by the statuette and that he expected an award statuette with a male figure. He also said that the female figure was “luring” him and that he was planning to head home after taking the award because the statuette was too heavy.

Alencier also criticized the prize money for the Special Jury Award, which is Rs. 25,000. He said that it was an insult to give him such a small amount of money, and that he deserved more. He also said that he was requesting Gautam Ghosh, the head of the jury, to look into the matter.

Alencier’s remarks have been met with widespread criticism. Many people have accused him of sexism and misogyny. Some have also said that his remarks were disrespectful to the women who have won the award in the past.

Speaking to media on Friday, Alencier refused to apologize for his remarks and said he had said nothing wrong. He also slammed Indira Gandhi for imposing Emergency.
